The FFC Co-Ed U7 Soccer Clinic is a developmental league that focuses on footwork and basic soccer skills for the beginner age 4-6. For the first three weeks of the season, players will run through a clinic-style practice facilitated by coaches and led by our league director. Beginning week 4 – thirty minute games will be played with a 15 minute practice. In each of our soccer leagues, we seek to teach our players the game of soccer in an age appropriate, healthy and encouraging environment. We believe that there is such a thing as ‘healthy competition.’ Size 3 soccer ball recommended. Game format 4 v 4 no goalies.
Our Fall League begins in August and the Spring League begins in April. Registrations are available one month prior. There will be a short devotional time where we share biblical principles with the players and encourage them to pursue a life with Christ every week. The season will conclude with a league celebration that includes food, fun, participation awards, and league champion awards.
League Dates: Fall 2024: September 7 – November 1; League Celebration Friday, November 1
Fee: $40 per child includes team jersey
Refund Policy: $5.00 fee retained if refund requested. No refund will be given to any player who withdraws after the second week of practice. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Registration for Fall League 2024 is available now. Registrations will be accepted online with debit/credit card and paper registrations will be accepted at Welcome Desk with check/cash. Deadline to register August 21, or when league fills up, whichever occurs first. This league fills up quickly, register soon. PLEASE REGISTER CHILD IN THE DIVISION ACCORDING TO WHAT THEIR AGE IS ON SEPTEMBER 1 OF 2024 FOR FALL SESSION and 2025 SPRING SESSION. Any deviation from the age standard requires prior permission from the league director. We reserve the right to change age division break ups based on the participation numbers, up to and including the first practice.

Clinic Day and Times: Saturdays for one hour, times 11:30am or 12:30pm. Schedule will be posted one week prior to start.
First Clinic: Date: Saturday, Sept 7 (Times normally at 11:30am or 12:30pm) Please check website one week prior for your child’s team assignment and schedule. Please have players bring a size 3 soccer ball, water in a water bottle with name on it, and wear shin guards under their socks. Soccer cleats are recommended (no metal cleats). Location at First Friends Church Soccer Fields.
Mandatory Parents’ Meeting: At same time as your child’s clinic. Location at First Friends Soccer Fields; Please meet at Field 5 at the top of the stairs. We will then have the parents go to the other side of the shed for Parent Meeting.
End of Season Celebration: Friday, Nov 1 at 6pm-7:30pm. First Friends will provide main food item, paper products, plastic silverware, pop/water. Families are asked to bring a side food item to share. Check with coach or sports office in October for details.
Please bring a side dish or dessert to share according to the list below. Please put your name on any containers and utensils you bring and remember to take them home.
U7 – Sides (mac and cheese, beans, fresh vegetables or fresh fruit, etc.)
U10 – Salads (potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, lettuce/veg salads and dressing, etc)
U13 & U17 – Desserts
Equipment Needed: Size 3 soccer ball, soccer cleats (no metal), water bottle with name on it, shin guards worn under socks are required during season for safety purposes. Please dress according to the weather.
Weather Cancellation Policy: Evening activities will be re-evaluated by staff and decisions for cancellation will be made and posted on website one hour prior to start of activity.
