The First Friends Sports (FFS) Adult Co-Ed Softball League is open to all of age in our community and is on a “Bring Your Own Team” basis. It is designed to provide quality competition in a friendly fashion for males and females age 15 and up based on FFS’s values. A minimum of 12 participants on a team, a maximum of 16. Forty percent of team players on the field are required to be female, adjust rosters accordingly. See rules below for further explanation. Umpire will be provided for each game. There will be a short devotional time where we share biblical principles with the players and encourage them to pursue a life with Christ every week.
League Dates: Fall 2022: August 13 – October 15
Fee: $60.00 for each individual on team (12 participant minimum, maximum of 16). Team shirts will be included in cost for 12 participants on team, additional shirts can be purchased at $13.00 ea with check/cash at least one week’s notice prior to first game.
Refund Policy: $5.00 fee retained for all refunds. No refund will be given after the first week of games. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Registrations are on a “Bring Your Own Team” basis, register individually online with debit/credit card, indicating Team Coach Name. Registrations are available online now and will be in paper form in the church brochure racks by July 1. Paper forms will be accepted at the church Welcome Desk Mon-Fri 9am-3pm with check/cash. Deadline for Team Registrations is Aug 3. No new teams will be added after Aug. 3. Coaches are asked to turn in Team Roster at Coaches Meeting, Aug 2 at 6:30pm at the Pavilion near fields. Individuals wanting to play but not already on a team roster can contact the Sports Office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not register online, unless you are on a team.

Game Days and Times: Saturdays, Doubleheaders 9am-11:15am and 11:30am-2pm Location: First Friends Church ball fields. Games will have a one hour time limit & umpire will be provided. Schedule will be posted online one week prior to August 13.
Practice: Practice time and field assignments will be available upon request by team coach.
End of Season Celebration: After games Oct 15, located in the Pavilion

Weather Cancellation Policy: Evening activities will be re-evaluated by staff and decisions for cancellation will be made and posted on website one hour prior to start of activity.
