Purpose: To build skills and confidence through their first experiences with live pitching. Every player has the opportunity to learn, contribute, and succeed—both on the mound and in the field—while fostering teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong passion for baseball.
League dates: April TBD to June TBD, final celebration June TBD (pizza provided; bring a side).
Skills Assessment: Date/Time: TBA
Practices: Mondays at 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm.
Games: Saturday mornings at 12:00 pm.
Fee: $80 per child (includes jersey and hat).

When & Where: April TBD – June TBD, 2026. Practices Mondays (5:30–6:45 pm & 6:30–7:45 pm). Games Saturday mornings 12:30, some weekday games. Location: First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave N, Canton, OH.
Skills Assessment: Date/Time: TBA—Arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in. Assessments will be at First Friends Baseball Fields. Wear cleats, & if possible, wear a shirt with your name or number on the back. If weather is bad, assessments will move to the First Friends Gym (tennis shoes only).”
End‑of‑Season Party: June TBD, 2025 — pizza, pop, water, and paper products provided; families bring a side or dessert. Held at church pavilion or inside gym if needed.
Refunds: $5 retained for refunds. No refund after the second week unless approved for medical reasons; none if removed for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Opens online January 15, 2026; paper forms available January 21 at the Welcome Desk. Office hours: Mon–Fri, 9 am–3 pm. Deadline: April 1 or when full. Late registrations accepted if space allows, though jerseys may arrive late.
Age Requirement: Register based on age as of July 1 of the current year. Exceptions only with director approval. Divisions may shift based on participation.
Special Requests: One request allowed (e.g., buddy pairing), must be mutual, not guaranteed.

Equipment: Required gear: baseball glove, team shirt, and baseball cap. Recommended gear: baseball cleats (no metal cleats) and baseball pants. Optional gear: Baseball bat (must comply with Little League Regulations)
