General Information

The K-1 Basketball Clinic is a fun and exciting time in which boys and girls age 5 or in Kindergarten and First Grade will learn the basic skills of the game of basketball. The K-1 Clinic is held on Saturday afternoons.  Children are placed on teams and the teams rotate to different stations.  These stations include: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense/footwork, devotional. The devotional station is led by our devotional coordinator who will share biblical principles and encourages the players to live a life with Christ. During the last two weeks of the clinic, participants play scrimmages, applying the skills they have learned. A size 27.5 basketball is used in this clinic.

Dates/Times:  January thru March 

Fee:   $40.00 Registration Fee includes a T-shirt (fee subject to change)
Refund policy: $5.00 fee retained if refund requested. No refund will be given to any player who withdraws after the second week of clinic. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.

Registration:  Registrations for upcoming league will be available in November.  When available register online with debit/credit card or with paper registrations and check/cash at our church Welcome Desk.  Check your email for a confirmation of registration if you register online. Church Welcome Desk office hours, Mon-Fri 9am -3pm. Deadline to register is when league fills up, or TBA, whichever occurs first.   Church offices will be closed the day after Thanksgiving, and during Christmas holidays.

Coaching Volunteers Running a basketball clinic with children of this age requires a great deal of volunteers. We need you! If you would be willing to help out with coaching at this years clinic, please be sure to let us know on your child’s registration form.  Coaches Meeting TBA.  Coaches will meet 30 minutes prior to the first clinic in the gym, and 15 minutes before every clinic thereafter.
