This is a parent participation league that promotes family relationships with the primary goal of having fun. The league is designed to give boys and girls ages 5-6 and parents a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of catching, throwing, hitting and base running. To promote sportsmanship and parity, each player will have a chance to play all positions, the entire team will have a chance at bat for each inning and no score is kept in the games.
Dates: This league runs from April 8 – June 14, 2025. End of Season Celebration is June 14, 2025. The celebration is planned to be at the church pavilion, but if weather is bad, we will have it inside our gym. Pizza/Pop/Water and paper products will be provided. We ask families to bring a side/dessert to share.
NOTE: Practice day is Tuesdays
Fee: $65 per child includes team jersey and baseball hat.
Refund Policy: $5.00 fee retained if refund requested. No refund will be given to any player who withdraws after the second week of practice. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Registration for Spring League 2025 will be available online 1/31/25. Payment is required with debit/credit card for online registration and at church Welcome Desk with paper registration form and check/cash. Paper forms will be available at the church by Friday, Feb 7. Office hours are Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. Deadline to register is April 1, or when league fills up, whichever occurs first. Will consider late registrations if space available. Jerseys ordered after deadline, may not arrive by first game. PLEASE REGISTER CHILD IN THE DIVISION ACCORDING TO WHAT THEIR AGE IS ON JULY 1 OF CURRENT YEAR. Any deviation from the age standard requires prior permission from the league director. We reserve the right to change age division break ups based on the participation numbers, up to and including the first practice.
Note: Special requests can be indicated on registration form and will be considered, not guaranteed. Only one request, only one name, is allowed on the form and if you request another player, they must also request you.

Coaches Needed! Please consider coaching your child’s team, or assisting a coach. Training is provided. Coaches meeting April 3 at 7pm Location: Inside First Friends Church. Please indicate on your child’s registration you would like to coach or email sports@firstfriends.org.

Our clinic is a time for coaches and players to get an intentional training on the fundamentals of baseball
and age appropriate drills and goals for their baseball season. This year we are partnering with Playball
Sports Academy to help run and facilitate these clinics. (2024 information, 2025 TBA)
Game Day & Times: Saturdays 9:00 am & 10:15am at First Friends Church ball fields, and some weekdays.
Team Rosters and Schedules: Will be posted on website prior to first practice.
End of Season Celebration: June 14, 2025 at 9:30am-12:30pm Pizza/Pop/Water and paper products will be provided. We ask families to bring a side to share.
Weather Cancellation Policy: Activities will be re-evaluated by staff and decisions for cancellation will be made and posted on website one hour prior to start of activity.
