General Information

The FFC Men’s Open Basketball League is designed to provide a competitive men’s league in the Stark area for men age 18-39. Based on First Friends Sports Ministry concepts, the league is intended to provide competition in a warm and friendly fashion. During this unique time of fellowship, each participant is introduced to the claims of Christ and is encouraged to share with each other during post or pre-game huddles how Christ is impacting their lives.  Registrations are on an individual basis, and all teams are drafted after the open gym assessments.  Open gyms are for paid registered participants only!

League Dates:  January 4, 2024  – March 21, 2024

Fee:  $80.00 league fee
$20.00 additional for required black/red First Friends jersey (if you don’t have one).

Refund Policy:  ($5.00 fee for all refunds) No refund will be given to any player who withdraws on or after the first week of games. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.

Registration:   Registrations for 2024 Winter league will be available by Nov 13.  Registrations will be  accepted online with debit/credit card payment and at the church Welcome Desk with paper form and cash/check payment.  If registering online, please check your email immediately after completing registration process for a confirmation email.   The Welcome Desk office hours are Mon-Fri 9am-3pm.  Payment must be received at time of registration. Church offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and for Christmas Holiday break, Dec 25-Jan 2.

Requests:  Requests are not guaranteed. Teams are drafted by the coaches.  Requests that affect the competitive balance of the team cannot be honored.

Game Nights:  Thursdays at 7pm, 8pm or 9pm
