General Information
The Co-ed U10 Soccer League introduces children ages 7–9 to the fundamentals of soccer through fun, age-appropriate practices and games, fostering skill development, teamwork, and healthy competition in a positive environment.
Fall League (August–October 2025)
League dates: August 23 – October 31, 2025.
Mandatory Skill Evaluation: August 23 at 9:15 am; if you are unable to attend, please email us at sports@firstfriends.org
Practices: Tuesdays at 6:00–7:15 pm.
Games: Saturdays at 9:00 am or 10:15 am.
Devotional: A 15-minute devotional time, teaching the basics of Christian faith with a soccer fundamental, will conclude each Tuesday practice.
Fee: $65 per child (includes jersey).

Parent Resources
When & Where: August 23rd – October 31st, 2025. Practices: Tuesdays (6:00–7:15 pm). Games: Saturdays (9:00 am or 10:15 am). Location: First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave N, Canton, OH.
Format: 7 vs 7 with a goalie; two 25-minute halves. Score is kept.
End of Year Celebration: October 31, 2025 — pizza, pop, water, and paper products provided; families bring a side or dessert. Held at the church inside the gym.
Refunds: $5 retained for refunds. No refund is available after the second week, unless approved for medical reasons; none is provided if the student is removed for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Opens online June 1, 2025; paper forms available June 6th at the Welcome Desk. Office hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm. Deadline: TBD or when full. Late registrations accepted if space allows, though jerseys may arrive late.
Age Requirement: Register based on age as of July 1st of this year. Exceptions only with director approval.
Special Requests: One request allowed (e.g., buddy pairing), must be mutual, not guaranteed. View our Policy on Team Rosters.

Equipment: Required gear: Shin guards, Size 4 soccer ball. Recommended gear: Soccer Cleats (no metal spikes), water bottle.
Weather Cancellations: Directors will monitor the weather and make cancellation decisions one hour before the start of the activity.
