The FFC Sand Volleyball League is composed of men and women 18 and older and is intended to provide fun competition and fellowship with others outside on a sand court. During this unique time of fellowship, each participant is introduced to the claims of Christ and is encouraged to share with each other during post or pre-game huddles how Christ is impacting their lives.  Some playing experience is preferred. This league normally runs from May through August.  Beginning 2023, there will be two divisions.  The focus on one division is recreational play, the other division is a more serious competitive play.

Date:  May 22  – August 14, 2023 (League extended to Aug 21)

Location:  Weiss Park, Harvard Ave. & 26th ST NW, Canton, OH

Fee:  $40 Per Person due at Registration
Refund Policy:  $5.00 fee retained.  No refund will be given to any player who withdraws on or after the first game. An exception may be granted at the discretion of the staff due to medical reasons only. Further, no refund will be given to any player removed from the league during the course of the season for disciplinary reasons.

Registration:  Registration for 2023 will be open to individuals age 18 and over March 23.    Registration will be available online with debit/credit card payment and paper forms will be at the church Welcome Desk and accepted with check/cash payment.  Deadline is May 14.  Choose the division you want to play in when you register:  Recreation or Competitive    Payment is due with registration.    Office hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm.

Game Day/Time:  Mondays 7pm, 8pm or 9pm at Weiss Park.  No games on Memorial Day.

No Assessments; choose the division you want to play in when you register.  Recreation or Competitive

Scrimmage Date/Time:  Date May 22, 2023  7pm, 8pm or 9pm.   Schedule will be posted and coaches will notify you.   For registered participants only.

End of Season Celebration:  Date Aug 21 (changed from Aug 14 due to tournament game rainout), Location at Weis Park 7pm (rain out inside First Friends Church)

Weather Cancellation Policy:  Evening activities will be re-evaluated by staff and decisions for cancellation will be made and posted on website one hour prior to start of activity.
