Adult Volleyball Tournaments Age 16+

First Friends Church Co-Ed Adult Fundraiser Tournament
for the Benefit of the High School Youth Mission Trip.

Help our youth group go to the Dominican Republic for a mission trip!

Age:  16+

Date and Location:  April 5, 2025 at First Friends Church gym, 5455 Market Ave. N, Canton, OH  44709

Time:  Check-in will begin at 8:00 am.   Captains’ meeting at 8:15 am.

Pool play starts at 8:30 am. The tournament will go until 4:30 p.m. Pool play and playoffs determined by the number of teams registered.

Fee:  $240 a team, $40 a person. Teams will be six players each, with a minimum of two women on the court per team. There will also be a prize of hoodies for the winners of the tournament!

Format:  Two formats: B/BB & C/Rec

Concessions will be available for purchase on-site.

Dates:  May 31 to June 7, 2025

That week they will be visiting widows, providing medical care and check-ups, working with children, doing construction, and practicing street evangelism.

This is an amazing opportunity for our youth to develop their ability to reach out to others in hard places in a cross-cultural manner. Jesus Himself had a special place in His heart for the poor, widow, and the outcast. Our goal is to help these people feel seen, loved, and known, despite their circumstances, and to lead them to place their identity and lives in the hands of Christ.

The trip costs approximately $1,800 for each student, so your financial support is greatly appreciated. Please be in prayer for our team as well as they approach the trip!
