K-1 Clinic Grades K – 1 – First Friends Sports

General Information

Purpose–A fun, fundamental-oriented clinic for boys and girls age 5 to Gr 1 teaching the basics of basketball—passing, shooting, dribbling, proper defensive stance—with a focus on teamwork.

Winter Clinic (Jan–March 2027)

League dates: January – February, 2027 (dates TBA) .
Clinics: Saturdays at 1:30 pm-2:30 pm or 2:30pm-3:30pm. (Times subject to change 2027)
Devotional: One of the five stations is a 10-minute devotional time teaching the basics of Christian faith.
Fee: $40 per child (includes t-shirt). (2026 fee subject to change)

Coaches Needed!
Help make this year’s clinic a success—no experience required! We provide weekly plans and support. Just arrive 15 minutes early each week and plan to attend the Coaches Meeting (Date/Time TBA). Please mark on your child’s registration form you would like to coach.

Parent Resources

When & Where: January – February, 2027. (Dates TBA) Clinics Saturdays (1:30–2:30 pm or 2:30-3:30 pm). (times subject to change 2027) Location: First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave N, Canton, OH.

Refunds: $5 retained for refunds. No refund after second week unless approved for medical reasons; none if removed for disciplinary reasons.

Registration: Opens online TBA. Office hours: Mon–Fri, 9 am–3 pm. Deadline: TBA Late registrations accepted if space allows, though t-shirts may arrive late.

Special Requests: One request allowed (e.g., buddy pairing), must be mutual, not guaranteed. View our Policy on Team Rosters.
