General Information
The Coach Pitch League is dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where boys and girls aged 7–8 can learn the fundamentals of baseball, develop teamwork, build confidence, and experience the joy of the game.
Spring Coach Pitch Baseball (Apr – June 2026)
- League dates: April TBD to June TBD, final celebration June TBD (pizza provided; bring a side).
- Practices: Thursdays at 5:30 pm or 6:30 pm.
- Devotional: Mandatory 15-minute devotional will be held on Thursdays. Players who attend practices and miss devotionals will sit out their first batting rotation of the next game.
Games: Saturday mornings at 10:30 am.
Fee: $65 per child (includes jersey and hat).

Parent Resources
When & Where: April TBD – June TBD, 2026. Practices Thursdays (5:30–6:45 pm & 6:30–7:45 pm). Games Saturday mornings (10:30), some weekday games. Location: First Friends Church, 5455 Market Ave N, Canton, OH.
End‑of‑Season Party: June TBD, 2026 — pizza, pop, water, and paper products provided; families bring a side or dessert. Held at the church pavilion or inside the gym if needed.
Refunds: $5 retained for refunds. No refund after the second week unless approved for medical reasons; none if removed for disciplinary reasons.
Registration: Opens online January 15, 2026; paper forms available January 21 at the Welcome Desk. Office hours: Mon–Fri, 9 am–3 pm. Deadline: April 1 or when full. Late registrations accepted if space allows, though jerseys may arrive late.
Age Requirement: Register based on age as of July 1 of the current year. Exceptions only with director approval. Divisions may shift based on participation.
Special Requests: One request allowed (e.g., buddy pairing), must be mutual, not guaranteed.

Equipment: Required gear: baseball glove, team shirt, and baseball cap. Recommended gear: baseball cleats (no metal cleats) and baseball pants. Optional gear: Baseball bat (must comply with Little League Regulations)
