This league runs from January through March each year. Skill Assessments will be in late November/early December for registered participants. The Girls High School League is designed for girls in gr 9-12 with beginner through advanced level experience and are looking for fun and fellowship at the community level. This league will play in a two division format, breaking up the players by ability. In teaching the skills of passing, setting, blocking, serving and hitting, we strive to integrate fun into each aspect of the program while enabling each participant to be successful.
Athletes in the High School League use standard USVA equipment with no adaptation. Each team consists of a roster of 9 players and two coaches. There are 8 games with practices once a week. There will be a short devotional time where we share biblical principles with the players and encourage them to pursue a life with Christ every week.
Note: The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. According to OHSAA regulations, there is a limit on how many athletes participating on the same school team may play on a team in First Friends Leagues.
