Volleyball Clinic

Gr. 2-3



The Clinic is a fun and exciting time in which young girls will learn the basic skills of the game of volleyball. There are six stations at which coaches teach the fundamentals. During the last one or two weeks of the Clinic, kids play scrimmages, applying the skills they have learned. During our huddle station, we take time to share biblical principles with the players and encourage them to pursue a life with Christ.

 *Please do not include your Sports Fees in your church offering* Day/Time: One day a week, Monday at 6:00pm to 7:00pm  Starts: January 9, 2012 thru February 27, 2012  Jerseys:  First Friends Volleyball Jerseys are required for each participant.  They must be worn over a T-shirt at all times.  Coaching:  Running a volleyball clinic for this age group requires a great number of volunteers.  We need you!  Our hope is to have at least three coaches per team.  If you would be willing to help out with coaching at this year's clinic, please be sure to let us know on your child's registration form.  First Friends will provide you weekly with all the information you need to coach a one hour session. No previous experience is necessary.  Coach's Meeting Jan 9 at 5:30pm and before each clinic every week at 5:45pm in room M-121 (off of gym)   Questions?
