It is the goal of FFC to provide each youth involved with a positive experience in competition and to provide the best technical volleyball skill development in the area. This league runs from January through March each year. Skill Assessments will be in December. The Junior High League is for 7th and 8th grade girls who wish to develop their volleyball skills. This league is designed for both beginner through advanced players. Skills which will be learned in this league include serving, serve reception, setting, passing, blocking, and transitioning. Athletes in the Junior High League use standard USVA equipment with no adaptation. Each team consists of a roster of 9 players and two coaches. There are 8 games, with practices once a week. Immediately following the practices (starting the practice before the first game), we take time to share biblical principles with the players and encourage them to pursue a life with Christ in our huddle time, which will last approximately 15-20 minutes. Players and coaches are also encouraged to memorize scripture verses weekly. This is all part of our Championship Series Points (CSP) system, which determines the league champions.
