Girls' Intermediate Dance Classes

All classes are a part of First Friends Sports & Recreation Outreach. The Sports and Recreation Outreach at First Friends (FFC) is rooted in our belief that all areas of life are sacred and everything we do must be under the Lordship of Christ (Col 3:17-23). We believe God is delighted when we pray but also when we play. He has created us with abilities and desires to play and compete and thus we "worship" Him in our activity (Romans 12:1). The Sports and Rec Outreach of FFC gives the whole family opportunities for health, fitness, friendship, fun, competition, venue for outreach, and spiritual development in an inviting, Christ-centered atmosphere. Registration Registrations will be available on and after November 14, 2011 online and in the church brochure racks. They will be accepted in the Sports and Recreation Office until the class fills up or Jan 6, 2012, whichever occurs first.
Fees $135.00 (class meets twice a week) ($5.00 fee for any refunds) There will be an annual costume fee and required uniform.

Meets twice a week:  Mondays 6:15-7:45pm and Saturdays 9:30-11:00am in room E-122

Parents of  NEW students:  meeting on Saturday morning, December 17, 2011 at 9:00-9:30am at First Friends Church.  Uniform sizing will be done at this meeting.  Cost is $10.00 each item.
 
What do students wear to dance class?
The required uniform is:
  • Black Cap-Sleeve Leotard
  • Classic Pink Convertible Tights
  • Pink Ballet Slippers
  • Black Wrap Skirt (Required for age 7+).
Other uniform requirements:
  • Cover-ups Must be worn to and from classes for ages 7+.
  • No midriff or words/illustrations on the derriere.
  • Students with long hair must pull the hair back.
